Information Kiosk
What is it and what did we do?
A stand-alone touch screen kiosk was purchased, along with software to program it. The purpose of this kiosk is to assist extension clientele looking for information on pests or pest control. It is designed to offer clients integrated pest management information. Not only does it provide programmed information, it is also connected to the internet, UF/IFAS web pages, for quick links to the most up-to-date information. A printer is connected to the kiosk so clients can print out the relevant information. The kiosk is located in our Plant Clinic.
