Profile: Angie Nino
Angie Nino, who received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology, is pursuing a M. S. degree in Entomology at the University of Florida. She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where she developed a big interest for insects during her undergraduate project. After she finished college, she worked as a research assistant in a biological control lab where she developed projects related with IPM in roses. Angie’s research project will be focus on biological control of an introduced pest in organic farms.
Besides her love for insects, Angie is passionate about dancing and traveling. In her spare time she enjoys sitting on the grass and reading a good book.
